UPDATE: The US Marshal's Office and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children are assisting the Sheriff's Office in the investigation.
Family members have reported the victim contacted them by telephone between 4:30 and 5:00 pm on 5-10-2010.
The Sheriff's Office will need to make visual contact with the victim in order to clear the case. We are asking anyone with information on the victim or suspect's location to please call 1-800-808-0488.
AS PREVIOUSLY REPORTED:
On 5/8/10 at approximately 1830 hours, Tulare County Sheriff’s Patrol Deputies responded to the area of Poplar regarding a report of a possible abduction.
Violent Crimes Detectives also responded and the investigation revealed two White Male Adults had assaulted and possibly abducted the victim, Shyann Magee, as she was on her way to the store. The suspects reportedly forced the victim into a vehicle and fled the area. The suspects and the victim remain outstanding at this time. Suspect Robert Lee is an ex-boyfriend of the victim.

The suspect in this case is wanted for questioning on the victim’s whereabouts. They were last seen yesterday, 5/8/10 @ 6:30 pm eastbound on Avenue 152 from Road 192 near Porterville in the suspect’s vehicle.

White male adult, 5’08” to 5’0” medium build, mustache, fade hair cut, wearing blue Levi type jeans. Burgandy or red t-shirt

Shyann Magee, 18 years, Poplar, 5’5”, 115 lbs, Brown hair, blue eyes, wearing grey/blue sweat pants,

Green/brown 1994 Ford Ranger Pick up, CA License plate number 6A66774
